The Mews appoints BAFTA award-winning Lubna Bhatti to drive
the development of creative opportunities and content creation

The Mews, one of

of digital services, is delighted to announce the appointment
of Lubna Bhatti as Senior Creative Producer to develop new
relationships with content creators, produce interactive content
and pitch programmes to producers and directors.

Credited with over 14 years of television production knowledge,
Lubna brings exceptional experience to The Mews, where she
will manage their portfolio of existing client relationships.
Using her wealth of all round knowledge and understanding
of the development process, having managed large production
teams and budgets, she will serve a pivotal role in driving
creative opportunities. In addition, her insight of wide ranging
technologies, platforms and financial constraints involved
in the production of content, provide a distinct advantage.
Lubna brings with her, a host of specialist skills, which
include live and recorded location and studio filming; multimedia
and interactive TV know-how; creative writing for studio scripts,
programme proposals and presenter scripts; casting contributions
as well as Development Process acumen.
She has worked on many BAFTA award-winning shows, where for
example, she produced "Level Up" which won a BAFTA
for interactivity. "With my production and creative background,
I am really excited to develop new business and creative opportunities
at The Mews. The company is strategically placed to enable
me to drive the creation of new high quality content, where
I can add valuable input in that area." Lubna states.

Lubna has managed studio live entertainment
environments, created title sequences, studio formats, to
name a few, under high pressure and time sensitive deadlines,
taking full responsibility for high profile projects. Her
most recent project was as Series Producer where she was responsible
for setting up, overseeing and managing live continuity links
for ITV.
Repeatedly promoted, Lubna rose to the ranks
of Series Producer, where she has held prominent positions
on both terrestrial and digital projects, including the launch
of new channels, multi platform commissions and the development
of formats and ideas for programmes both in the UK and for
Irish broadcaster
RTÉ. She has also directed, series produced and pitched
a number of programme formats and ideas for Disneys
International Channels and oversaw developmental aspects from
creative conception through to delivery of a number of entertainment
programmes.
As a Programme Maker, Lubna has also worked on a diverse range
of programme genres ranging from children's channels (CBBC,
Disney), music (Blaze TV), observational documentaries (BBC's
Fame Academy) and reality TV (C4 - Model Behaviour), with
her main passion producing live entertainment shows.
