Commenting on his appointment, Lomas said: “The Foundry is an impressive company with an exceptional reputation within the modern world of VFX and post production. I am looking forward to helping The Foundry to build on its world leading position in the future.”

Patrick Jocelyn brings over 20 years of experience working at companies intent on changing the way highly creative content is produced in the film and post production industries. Patrick brings extensive sales and marketing expertise and is tasked with leading the, already successful, global sales team as the company and its product portfolio grows ambitiously.

Prior to assuming his new position at The Foundry, Patrick managed the broadcast and post production business in Europe, the Middle East & Africa as Sales Vice President for leading technology company Avid. He has also held a number of senior positions at other high-profile media technology companies including Autodesk, Liquid Audio, Discreet Logic, Dynatech Video Group and Quantel.

Jocelyn today commented: “The Foundry is a fast growing and innovative developer of software that is helping facilities and creative individuals make the most incredible and seemingly impossible special effects. The Foundry’s impressive suite of tools, including Award winners Nuke, Furnace and Ocula, are second to none.”

Commenting on the appointments, Bill Collis, CEO at The Foundry, added: “We are delighted to welcome both Andy and Patrick to The Foundry. They are exceptional additions to the team, bringing with them outstanding global experience, knowledge and expertise in the film and post production industry which will help build on The Foundry’s international success to date.”
