Technicolor beefs up French biz: Company buys Quinta's ADJ, SIS, Scanlab

Technicolor is aiming to become a key player in France's post-production and film distribution biz with the acquisition of a number of the bankrupt Quinta Industries' subsidiaries.

A French commercial court greenlit Technicolor's bid to take over audio companies Auditorium of Joinville (ADJ) and SIS as well as post-production house Scanlab, which provides digital conversion, including VOD and digital cinema package mastering.
