Cine-tal Systems, a manufacturer of image
processing, display and collaboration solutions used
in digital cinema and video production, has completed
its acquisition of the cineSpace color management
technology and product line from Rising Sun
Research (RSR).

MTI Film Debuts RED Camera Support for Control Dailies

MTI Film will bring its Control Dailies workflow to
productions using RED cameras.
MTI will begin work on the new RED SDK as soon as
next week and are aiming for first quarter 2009 delivery.

Boris FX has announced that Boris Blue 2.5.1 is now
available with support for Windows Vista and new
NVIDIA & ATI drivers that are qualified by Avid & Adobe.
In addition, Boris FX announced new pricing and
special offers. Boris Blue 2.5 is now available for
$595, a crossgrade for Avid FX or Boris RED users is
$199, and a crossgrade for Boris FX or Boris Graffiti
users is $299.
