| Avid Acquires Euphonix | |
Avid plans to further develop an open standard protocol that greatly expands the ecosystem of compatibility between the Euphonix control surfaces and a wide range of Avid and third-party audio and video applications, including Media Composer and Pro Tools.
For existing Euphonix customers, Avid will continue to support EuCon- the Euphonix high-speed Ethernet protocol that enables its control surfaces to interface with third-party software.

| Digital Vision Unveils New Stereoscopic, Digital Camera Integration and Color Tools | |
Earlier this year, Digital Vision released 2009.1, an update for the Nucoda color grading and Phoenix restoration platforms.
At NAB, Digital Vision previewed key aspects of the 2010 Nucoda, Phoenix, and DVO release that illustrate the new feature that will be coming this year.
These previews include new stereoscopic functionality that includes an Anaglyph Stereo compare mode, the debut of DVO Clarity the next generation of noise and grain reduction, expansion of the highly regarded Turbine with its distributed processing capabilities set to expand in 2010, and a one touch keyer, now part of the Nucoda Film Master color toolset.

Pandora announces a new product structure and price point for the Revolution Colour Corrector.
All Revolution systems will be delivered fully featured and at full speed - all features in real time including scene change detection, FastTrack auto tracking, 1D & 3D LUTs, ASC CDL, bezier primaries, multiple 6 vectors, unlimited secondaries foreground and background, key and image defocus, clipping, blanking and legalising and so much more.
All systems will be supplied with the Evolution control surface.

| Dolby's New Reference Monitor | |
Dolby Laboratories announced that the new Dolby Professional Reference Monitor PRM-4200.
The new 42-inch monitor is a LCD-based video reference display that accurately reveals true and deep black levels with higher contrast across the entire color spectrum, and provides an unprecedented luminance range and level.
It uses a backlight comprised of red, green, and blue LEDs that are modulated individually on a frame-by-frame basis. The LCD panel is also modulated in real time as part of the dual-modulation process.

| Kodak Cinelab Selects FilmLight's Baselight and Northlight | |
FilmLight announces that Kodak Cinelabs Romania, part of a worldwide network of Kodak-owned film processing laboratories and digital film transfer facilities, has invested in a Baselight FOUR colour grading system and a Northlight 2 film scanner.
The systems will be installed in a newly-built digital intermediate grading theatre scheduled to begin operations this summer.

Lauren Lung has been named vice president and general manager of Kodak's Entertainment Imaging Division in North and South America.
Lung assumes the responsibilities formerly held by Peter Boyce, who has taken the role of general manager for the division's Europe, Africa and Middle East Region.
