The Imbongi Awards ceremony will be hosted by the Cape Film Commission (CFC) and the City of Cape Town on Saturday 06 March 2010 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).
Cape Town's top film producers and industry specialists will be honoured at the 2nd annual awards ceremony to showcase and recognise excellence in the local film industry.

 Available With or Without Drives, the Dual Port Multiplier Solution Offers Data Transfers up to 390 MB/sec Write, 475 MB/sec Read and Capacity to 16TB.
The D800P2 is a mid-level, software-configured RAID storage system containing eight hard drives, which can be formatted in RAID 0, RAID 1, and RAID 10 sets, or JBOD (individual drives) for individual projects or daily backups.
The unit's dual port multipliers offer high-performance data transfers of up to 390 MB/sec write, 475 MB/sec read. The D800P2 is designed for use with the Sonnet Tempo SATA E4P, Tempo SATA X4P, and Tempo SATA Pro ExpressCard/34 SATA controller cards for Mac and Windows PCs to support multiple streams of ProRes HD video.

| Japan's Musetex System Installs GraniteSTOR Shared Storage Technology |

 Featuring four Mac Pro Suites equipped with Matrox MX02, MOTU V4HD and HDX-SDI, Bluefish444 Epoch and Red Rocket, Musetex recently installed a GraniteSTOR shared storage system from Small Tree.
Working with 4K footage in HD output, Musetex required an upgrade from its existing 1Gb connectivity to 10Gb connectivity to facilitate workflow on feature films, TV commercials and major music video projects.
With Small Tree's GraniteSTOR ST-RAID, Musetex editors can copy footage, work on annotation, edit with R3D proxies, color grade and render from the same R3D footage simultaneously.

The award ceremony will be on June 2, 2010, during the international forum on S-3D and new images Dimension 3, at the Pullman Dock (La Plaine Saint-Denis, France).
