Celco Cinesafe 4K Digital Archive Recorder Now Shipping

CELCO announced today that the CineSafe 4K Digital
Archive Recorder, which was announced at IBC 2007,
is now shipping.
The new CineSafe 4K has been specifically designed
to output color separations on to black and white film
stocks at the highest speed and resolution.

Ascent Media Purchases World's First 16mm Cintel diTTo
|

|
Ascent Media based in London has installed the
world's first 16mm/35mm diTTo scanner.
After beta-testing the dual-gate Super 2K and 4K data
centric scanning system that was launched at NAB
2007, Ascent Media purchased the scanner to
compliment its existing technology workflow in its
Wardour Street facility.

The Farm Group has purchased a second Film
Master colour grading system.
The second machine is installed at Farm-subsidiary
Uncle, where it has so far been used on projects as
diverse as The Mighty Boosh (BBC3) and Wild at
