Pixellexis ready for NAB with REDBOX parallel processing system

Pixellexis Systems & Technologies has confirmed that it is on schedule to show the completed version of its revolutionary REDBOX processor accelerator at the NAB Convention in Las Vegas April 14th-17th 2008. (Booth SL 10530 South Hall Lower)

Pixellexis President Stefany Allaire comments, “We are very pleased with the progress that we’ve made since showing REDBOX prototypes at NAB & SIGGRAPH 2007.

REDBOX is a modular water cooled multi processing unit which is expandable (from 32 to 128 high performance floating point processors), versatile and very kind to the environment. It’s designed to speed up your current workstation, and is ideal for, but not limited to, providing the additional processing required for the intensive render cycles that have become part of today’s Post & VFX workflow. We will be presenting the production version of REDBOX at NAB and will be ready to ship immediately after the show.
