LipSync Post, the leading Soho post-production
facility, announced today that it has appointed Sean Farrow
to join its growing VFX department as Executive Visual Effects
Supervisor.
Farrow will work alongside LipSyncs Head of VFX, Stefan
Drury, to expand the US and international client base as well
as overseeing VFX work on projects going through the facility.
Stefan Drury, Head of VFX, LipSync, said, As the reputation
of our VFX department continues to flourish, with high profile
and varied projects such as Fantastic Mr Fox, Nowhere Boy,
Kick Ass and Mr Nice coming through the doors, Seans
appointment underlines how far we have come in just four years.
He has worked on some incredibly complex and creative projects,
he is full of ideas and inspiration, and instils confidence
in both clients and the team. I am certain that he will be
a valuable asset to LipSync.
Farrow said, Ive been a LipSync client on two
occasions and they handled those projects superbly, both creatively
and technically, on time and within budget. The company has
a strong creative and professional ethic in what they do which
I find very attractive and, as a privately owned independent
company, they have a good deal of flexibility and autonomy.
This is an opportunity for me to grow within a company that
is attracting some very exciting projects, and I believe that
my experience will in turn help LipSync to expand further.
Farrows most recent credits include Angels and Demons,
Cheri and the forthcoming Richard Loncraine film The Special
Relationship.
He was also the independent Visual Effects Supervisor on The
Secret of Moonacre and 1408, both of which were completed
at LipSync. In addition to film work his television credits
include Rome, Hustle and Band of Brothers.
