Key Code Media, the West Coast leader in editorial sales, storage systems and encoding solutions is searching for an accomplished application editor.

The perfect candidate is technically savvy, outgoing personality who is looking to significantly expand their profile into the Hollywood post production community.

Our last two application editors were hired for high profile finishing jobs. The candidate must be an expert with Avid editorial solutions and understand grading solutions. Demo editorial and finishing Solutions: including Avid Symphony/MediaComposer and DS, Assimilate Scratch, Autodesk Smoke and Flame, Digital Vision, CS5 and Final Cut Studio. Candidate will also need to show other products within the Key Code Media product line once training is completed.

Additional responsibilities include:
• R&D of new products, new product research and ability to make recommendations,
• Join the KCM strategic product group monthly meetings, KCM
• Video, Audio and 3rd Party equipment inventory, maintenance, and equipment turn around for resale-this would include all office location and mobile demo systems.
• Video and online projects
• Marketing events this includes events on and off site. This would include managing event set up and breakdown, working with the marketing department for all events
• Pre sales consultation, work flow consultation, Client training, staff and client training, 1st time product integration
• Onsite client training, new technology training for staff and sales team
