GFS is an award winning, youth-media non-profit organization that aims to connect talented young people to artistic career opportunities in the world of film and video.

A rigorous 15-month curriculum consisting of three stages of core curriculum leading towards a career in filmmaking. The fellows program covers the foundations of film, working in the film industry and culminates with a group Thesis film project. The Thesis Film involves pre-production, production, post-production, and distribution, and offers experience in budgeting, projects management, location scouting, casting, equipment packages, marketing and festivals.

GFS classes meet full time during the summer months, with full-day Saturdays and afterschool sessions during the school year.
