Mikko Martikainen Joins Finish

Finish are pleased to announce that Mikko Martikainen has joined the 3D team

Mikko began his career as a graphic designer and programmer in his native Finland. In 2003 he moved to London and joined Glassworks as a 3D artist.

Since then Mikko has worked as a Senior 3D artist (freelance and full-time) in several leading post production houses in London and Helsinki. He leaves Method to join Finish, but has also worked at The Mill for over two years in both London and LA.

Highlights of his career include Vodafone (shortlisted for the BTAA craft award), Pepsi, Ford, Coke Blak, Samsung and Poseidon (nominated for the best VFX Oscar in 2007). Mikko has excellent visual skills complemented by strong technical knowledge of tools and processes involved in creating high-end animation and visual effects.
