NEW DCP-2000 Digital Cinema Player
The Doremi Cinema DCP-2000 is the most widely used JPEG 2000 DCI digital cinema player worldwide with over 6000 installed to date. This industry workhorse includes 3D capability and support for the RealD system. The DCP-2000 is 2K native but can extend to 4K with the addition of the MB-4K media block.
NEW GHX-10 is an HDMI and SDI cross converter with genlock and audio support.
GHX-10 features HDMI, DVI, and SDI connections that allow the conversion of any input to any output format or scan rate. It supports SD, HD and 2K video and employs high quality 12-bit bicubic interpolation to ensure the highest quality picture.
Advanced features include audio, sync output and genlock as well as dual-link SDI and 3Gb/s SDI connections for 4:4:4 2K film. Applications include computer DVI-to-HD-SDI conversion, HDMI or DVI resolution conversion, an HD/SD video upconverter/ downconverter, and much more. There is support for up to eight channels of AES, HDMI and SDI audio, embedded or de-embedded to separate AES BNC connectors, or delayed to match the video.
A two-line LCD display and scroll wheel simplifies navigation through the GHX-10’s menus. A USB connection for remote operation and an infrared remote control are also provided. Firmware can be upgraded via a micro SD card or USB.
NEW GHX-3D for TI DLP TV 3D
The new GHX-3D supports the TI DLP TV 3D technology now used in TVs from Samsung and Mitsubishi that display 3D in sequential mode at 120Hz. The GHX-3D accepts regular 3D input from two HD-SDI links and delivers proprietary TI 3D format on DVI. So a DSV-J2 player playing 3D can be displayed using DLP TV 3D technology.
DoremiAM asset manager
DoremiAM asset manager offers comprehensive, easy, step-by-step operation for the import of universal media files to a wide range of Doremi players and servers. The DoremiAM XP/Vista PC software, available free of charge to Doremi customers, operates with many file types and coding formats for the automated Gigabit transfer of media files as well as offering transport control for Doremi servers.
The ‘universal’ digital media includes multiple video containers: Quicktime, WMV, AVI and MXF, and multiple codecs: Blackmagic 8-bit, Photo JPEG, MJPEG, Apple ‘none’, H264, MPEG-2, DV, DVCPRO25, Avid DNxHD, xvid and divx, and multiple image formats: TIFF, TARGA and JPEG as well as audio: MPEG (Layer I, II, III), WAV and AC3. DoremiAM works with Doremi servers including the high-end uncompressed V1U (SD), V1-UHD (HD) and V1-UHD/LE (HD) players. The next release adds the V1-HD JPEG2000 server and the DSV-J2 JPEG2000 player (up to 2K).
DoremiAM also provides intuitive transport controls for browsing and selecting available media files for playback. With the automated Gigabit transfer of media files, the whole operation can be run from one place. The Nugget player (MPEG-2 SD HD ES) gets special treatment with playlist generation and local or remote playout control.
DoremiAM allows setting up media file imports that include conversion into the native formats of the Doremi servers such as NTSC, PAL, 720p, 1080i, 1080p, and 2K. Once the conversion is done, transfers can proceed to complete the whole plug-and-play transfer process.
NuggetPost HD Video Player for Post
NuggetPost HD is the new versatile and feature-packed video player from Doremi. It is designed for post production applications that require a standalone video playback device with comprehensive media file format support. It includes Sony 9-pin control for variable speed and frame-accurate playback of HD and SD video with jog and shuttle. DoremiAM software manages Ethernet transfers of popular video files - DV, HDV, Avid DNxHD, QuickTime, and WMV – to Nugget’s drive.
NuggetPost’s 1RU chassis features composite, DVI, SDI and HD-SDI video and includes genlock and timecode. It can playback up to 80Mb/s, 4:2:2 and, for film applications, supports 24-frame/s.
Post production applications include a video companion for audio post with visual cues for ADR, Foley and mix stages, or as an instant-access VTR replacement. It provides perfect sync with audio workstation timelines via its Sony 9-pin chase mode as well as variable speed playback and in-sync scrub for a DAW session.
