Digital Vision, supplier of colour grading,
finishing, mastering and restoration solutions for the broadcast,
film and commercials industries will be showcasing colour
management functionality, grading tools and stereoscopic 3D
features for post production at BIRTV on the Altec International
booth (8.B10).
Recent customers such as Post Production Office, Modern Cinema,
Cutting Edge, Beijing Film Archive, Beijing Film Academy,
Filem Negara, Digit Digit, SARFT Beijing and Rising Sun Pictures
are using Nucoda and Phoenix systems.
Asia launch:
· Nucoda Film Master running new 2010 software with
enhanced features and functionality including:
- DVO Clarity, the next-generation noise and grain management
software with automatic profiling
- Additional stereoscopic 3D tools and viewing modes
- New Intelligent Isolation colour keyer (I-Keyer)
- Updated file format support including Arri Alexa support,
MFX OP1a publishing and ALE file export
· Phoenix platform.
To address the restoration market, Digital Vision has introduced
Phoenix Finish, its new flagship end-to-end restoration, re-mastering
and delivery system; Phoenix Refine that delivers the best
in high-end restoration image processing tools to repair any
defect or damage to film and video media and Phoenix Touch,
the companys cost-effective image restoration software
solution, which can be used for cleaning up VFX plates and
DI scans, or as part of large volume restoration projects
requiring manual retouch of content.
Also demonstrating:
· DVNR: A comprehensive, flexible, hardware-based system
for telecine and tape-to-tape image processing. DVNR has set
the standard in film and video industry post production facilities
since 1988. With real-time enhancement tools including dust
busting and film grain management, DVNR works at SD, HD and
data resolutions with film or video-originated material.
