REVIEW: Complete Training for Adobe Premiere Pro CS4

Class on Demand's Complete Training for Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 provides over 8 hours of on-demand training for completing a start-to-finish professional video production project.

The training covers: Starting a Project, Organizing Media, Sequences, Editing, Effects, Audio, Creating Titles and Output in Adobe Premiere Pro CS4, as well as using On Location CS4, Encore CS4 and Dynamic Link. Each section has 4 to 8 sub-lessons, which build on each other - so we recommend following the training in its intended order.

At over 8 hours, it's pretty intensive and exhausting if you plan to follow the entire training DVD in 1 day - so we recommend you break it up over 2 - 3 days.

The text and icons are a bit poor quality and are sometimes difficult to read, but still provide us with the necessarily details to follow along.

Tim Kolb, the instructor, is extremely articulate. He uses and explains the topics in a highly engaging manner that is enjoyable and straightforward to follow.

It would be great if the tutorial was available as a pod-cast or download from the Class on Demand website.

Also, it would be nice if you could use the normal hot keys (fast forward, pause, rewind) to navigate your way through the tutorial -- you have to click on the icons on the GUI.

If you are looking for excellent, organized and indepth training on Adobe Premiere Pro CS4, it's well worth the price at $149.95. And, far better than trying to self-teach or follow a book.
