Blackmagic Design announced that Underground
Logic, one of the Philippines leading post-production
houses, has installed version 7 of the DaVinci Resolve non-linear
color correction system.
Underground Logic has already begun work on several projects
landed due to the Resolves color correction capabilities,
including work for some of the largest multi-national brands
in the region.
Underground Logic is a full service post facility, which works
primarily in the television commercial industry but offers
everything from digital color grading and 3D visual effects
to character animation, online and offline editing. It is
also one of the first Resolve version 7 customers in Southern
Asia to be using the new Resolve panel technology.
The installation of version 7 adds to Underground Logics
existing Blackmagic Design workflow, which includes the UltraScope
test and measurement product, DeckLink SDI and DeckLink HD
Extreme 3D capture and playback cards and Media Express software.
Through this combination, Underground Logic has built a post
workflow where Blackmagic Design products are used for everything
from offline, online, VFX, grading, EDL importing, format
conversion and dubbing to final quality control for release.
From now on, all of our projects will make use of the
UltraScope, DeckLink cards and Resolve. We have grown partial
to Blackmagic Designs offerings because we can rely
on them to meet clients expectations of our full service
post house, and we are very excited to harness the Resolves
power and speed, said Adrian Tecson, Director for Post-Production
and Managing Director at Underground Logic.
