DFT Digital Film Technology is holding a London, UK Event to demonstrate the SCANITY film scanner, as well as the new BONES PlayoutMaster and BONES Dailies software solutions.
BONES PlayoutMaster - NEW
File and video output format generation / mastering
- Simple timeline editing including audio snychronization
- Conversion and mastering to various output formats, including DPX files, video formats and encoded files
- Parallel video (up to 3) or file based outputs (QuickTime, MXF - with DNxHD codec, MPEG 1, 2, 4, chaptered DVD, WM, AVI and others)
- Optional image and audio ingest module
- Optional real-time image processing module for primary color correction, 3D LUTs and transformation
- Optional secondary color correction
- Optional storage configurations
BONES DAILIES V4.5 - now shipping
- Supports film and digital dailies tape-less workflows
- Support of new file formats: R3D Red, ArriRaw ingest to DPX
- Direct render output for QuickTime, MXF (also with DNxHD codec), MPEG1, 2, 4, chaptered DVD, WM, AVI and others
- Up to 3 parallel video outputs with different formats and settings
- New secondary color correction tools
- Additional picture monitoring features
- Improved syncing mechanisms
- Logos and bitmaps in burn-in overlays

- Infra Red Scanning - efficient dust and scratch mask detection

- 8perf / 2perf Scanning
- Batch Processing - SCANITY server is used for background processes without adding another workstation to the SAN
- Scaler - scales images to all required sizes
