ARRI Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Stephan Ukas-Bradley to the
newly created position of Product Manager, Digital Production. In this expanded
role, Ukas-Bradley will provide technical support to the sales and marketing of
ARRI digital cameras across North and South America. This product line includes
the ARRIFLEX D-21, ARRIRAW T-Link storage devices, ARRIRAW Image
Converter and related postproduction tools.
“Stephan has become our digital camera expert, and we’re certain that this
experience will ensure his success in this expanded role to broaden the
deployment of D-21 cameras and supporting tools throughout our region,” says
Glenn Kennel, Chief Technology Officer of ARRI.
Ukas-Bradley previously served at ARRI Burbank in the role of Manager,
Technical Services where he oversaw camera and lighting repair with a
supporting team of technicians. When the ARRIFLEX D-20 was unveiled in 2004,
he was instrumental in its introduction to filmmakers in the U.S. and
internationally. Prior to that, the ASC Associate Member worked as a Technical
Representative where he was heavily involved in the Digital Imaging department,
supporting the beta test and establishing the service structure for the newly
introduced ARRILASER film recorder. His extensive background with analog film
cameras and digital technology has created a collaborative relationship in the
past several years with the Hollywood production community which in turn has
developed much feedback in engineering and design for ARRI equipment.
“Production is at an extremely interesting crossroads now where there are many
different options. This can also be very confusing, so I’m very excited about this
new position in helping to offer the best digital solutions that meet creative,
technical and budget needs,” notes Ukas-Bradley.
